About Us
Overview
Rapid Product and Process Development (RPD) Center at Texas State University-San Marcos is engaged in research and educational activities in design, development, automation and analysis of functional products, processes, tools and systems in diverse sizes, from micro scale to several yards, in a short period of time. The research effort is focused on functionality and customization based on the customer’s needs. Development of mechanical and electromechanical systems for industry and fabrication of the fully dense prototypes are of special interest at this center.
